Overview and Purpose
This course is designed to present the general theory,
guidelines, and practices to be used in planning and implementing NFPA 70E.
Bringing a facility from minimal compliance to becoming fully compliant
is covered in careful detail. Recent changes in the 2009 NFPA 70E
have new requirements for anyone working on or near electrical distribution
equipment. It will cover steps from the earliest phases of
preparation up through monitoring compliance after the program has
been fully implemented. The course will also demonstrate how to
minimize the impact to ongoing operations.
This course is vital for anyone who manages EH&S, Production,
Engineering, and Maintenance Managers.
