Take a look at our
resources, expertise and track record and discover how we can help
you achieve the results that really count -- improving the bottom
line.
Our History
Electrical Reliability Services
(formerly Electro-Test, Inc (ETI)) was
established by John H. Moore in 1971 in response to a need for an
unbiased evaluation for both new and existing electrical
installations.
Our growth and reputation for quality,
service and value soon followed and we added locations throughout
the West.
The company
was named
the IEEE Small Company of the Year three times, and won numerous
other awards for technical excellence, safety and industry
leadership. We are full members of NETA (the InterNational
Electrical Testing Association) and IEEE.
Excellence in the Team
More than 300 engineers, technicians and support professionals
comprise our team, which ranks in
the industry's top percentile in terms of accreditation and skill
level. We place strong emphasis on certifications such as
Professional Engineers, Certified Test Technicians etc., and
encourage continuous learning. Our internal and external training
programs lead the industry.
NRTL
In 1995, we earned certification from
federal OSHA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. This
portion of our business enables us to list products prior to sale
and also is recognized by regional jurisdictions for code
compliance work.
Emerson Electric
In 1995, Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. became part of Emerson. As
a wholly-owned subsidiary, we have direct access to the combined
resources of one of the world's most respected industrial leaders.
Within the Emerson family of companies, we
are an integral part of the Asset
Optimization team of Emerson
Process Management which aggregates the service divisions
of over 100 Emerson companies. Our goal is to create solutions to
optimize the process industry. Typical efficiency improvements
have ROI paybacks of 2 to 3 months on upgrades and produce yearly
returns of 1% to 2% of plant revenue.
Another benefit of being part of
the Emerson group, is our association with other leaders in the
field of electrical testing, maintenance and engineering services.
Our sister companies enable us to meet your needs throughout the
United States and the world.
